Description
Developed in collaboration with U.S. Special Forces, the XGAUZE® Trauma Pad brings the power of RevMedx’s expanding sponge technology into a compact, easy-to-use dressing for treating moderate to severe trauma wounds.
At the core of XGAUZE is a porous medical pouch filled with compressed cellulose minisponges—the same field-tested technology used in the groundbreaking XSTAT® device. Upon contact with blood or exudate, these minisponges rapidly expand to create a soft, conforming fill over the wound site. The expanding core is surrounded by a soft, nonwoven outer layer that remains non-adherent to the wound and provides breathable, flexible coverage even during active use.
Each 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) pad is compact, rugged, and packaged for rapid deployment in both field and clinical settings. XGAUZE is available over-the-counter (OTC) and requires no prescription.
