XSTAT is an injectable hemostatic system for severe junctional bleeding, the high-pressure wounds a tourniquet cannot reach (groin, axilla, shoulder, neck). One applicator delivers dozens of compressed mini-sponges that expand on contact with blood, fill the wound cavity, and hold pressure against the bleeding source.
The XSTAT line is FDA-cleared and was developed with the U.S. military for battlefield hemorrhage control. It is used today by military units, law enforcement, and EMS. The XSTAT P30 applicator is built for larger junctional wounds. The XSTAT P15 uses a 15 mm applicator sized for narrow-entrance wounds such as gunshot and shrapnel injuries.
